Big Sur Camping

 The breathtaking beauty of Big Sur beckons you with unparalleled natural scenery including sweeping views of the wild Pacific Ocean, isolated beaches and towering redwood trees. This 3-day, 2 night camp-out includes epic and varied day hikes with plenty of time to chill at camp, eat lovingly prepared food* (all food included, vegetarian and delicious) and PLAY in nature! Campfire songs & stories encouraged.

Day 1

Meet between 1-3pm at our campsite in Plaskett Creek (exact # sent upon complete reservation) to settle in, make camp and enjoy some snacks. If you rented any gear, we'll have it ready for you when you arrive. We'll enjoy a short hike from camp before we settle in for some dinner-making, wine tasting and campfire shenanigans 'till we tuck-in for some much-needed sleep under the stars. 

Day 2

AM coffee & hot bevvies ready before breakfast. We'll pack lunch and drive to the trailhead for a ~8 mile hike to an incredible view of Big Sur, lunch enjoyed on trail. We'll have plenty of time to chill at camp before cooking dinner. Optional short sunset walk before campfire stories & songs.

Day 3

AM coffee & hot bevvies ready before breakfast. After packing lunch and packing up camp, we'll head north to beautiful Andrew Molera/Garrapata area for some fabulous coastal and inland hiking. Hike length ~5miles. Lunch enjoyed on trail. Back at cars at ~1pm for cheers & goodbyes.


EARLY BIRD is $365/adult and $275/kids before August 3rd.

Price goes up to $395/adult and $305/child under 12 after August 3rd.

What Should I Pack?

Our professional, experienced guides will send you a thorough equipment and packing list along with itinerary, options to carpool and other details upon completing your reservation. Don't have all the things (sleeping bags, tents, pads)? We rent gear for a reasonable fee

What's Included?

Food, guided hikes, permits and camping fees. Bring personal snacks & games. Optional: surf boards/beach toys, a journal and pen and musical instruments.

Are the Hikes Hard?

No, though there are hills as this is mountainous terrain. If you've never hiked before, we recommend training, though it's not required. If you can comfortably hike 5-10 miles with hills, you'll be fine. Of course, hikes are always optional.
