Big Sur Camping
The breathtaking beauty of Big Sur beckons you with unparalleled natural scenery including sweeping views of the wild Pacific Ocean, isolated beaches and towering redwood trees. This 3-day, 2 night camp-out includes epic and varied day hikes with stops at several eclectic shops in the eclectic community of Big Sur. There's plenty of time built-in to this long weekend to chill at camp, eat lovingly prepared food* and PLAY in nature! Campfire songs will be provided by your leaders, stories around the campfire encouraged! Please bring tents, sleeping pads and sleeping bags or rent them for a fee.
*All meals are delicious and vegetarian.
Meet between 1-3pm at our campsite (sent upon complete reservation) and settle in, make camp and enjoy some snacks. If you rented any gear, we'll have it ready for you when you arrive. Making dinner in the outdoors is fun when you have good food, good people and good wine! Campfire shenanigans 'till we tuck-in for some sleep under the stars.
• 7am coffee & hot bevvies ready. 8am breakfast. We'll back lunch and drive to the trailhead for a ~5 mile hike to an incredible view of Big Sur, lunch enjoyed on trail. On the way back we'll stop at the Big Sur Bakery for an afternoon coffee/treat and Phoenix Shop before returning to camp. Optional short sunset hike before dinner.
7am Coffee & hot bevvies ready. 8am breakfast. After packing lunch and packing up camp, we'll head north to beautiful Andrew Molera/Garrapata area for some fabulous coastal and inland hiking. Hike length/area TBD. Lunch enjoyed on trail. Back at cars at ~1pm for cheers & goodbyes.

What Should I Pack?
Our professional guides will send you a thorough packing list for this campout upon completing your reservation. A few things we know you'll need: a good (warm) sleeping bag/pad and tent. Also, comfortable shoes, at least 4 pairs of socks, layers, hat/sunscreen and rain jacket in case of weather.
Effortless pre-trip planning including logistics & route, packing list and detailed itinerary so you know what to expect. We take care of all permits and camping fees. Food included! Bring special snacks if desired.
Are the hikes hard?
No, though there are hills as this is mountainous terrain. If you've never hiked before, we recommend training, though it's not required. If you can comfortably hike 4-7 miles with hills, you'll be fine! Of course, hikes are always optional.
